Hello! We are Nuuk, your digital agency from Hamburg and Berlin.
We are developers who love trying new things, and we love technologies even before they go mainstream. With that mindset we built the world's first smart electric grill, made portable toilets orderable via app and launched a board game with Ravensburger that always stays up to date. Got a crazy idea? 2026 - present
We go live.
The promise becomes reality. Torshavn.io, our fan engagement platform for professional football, is live: after VfB Lübeck, FC Augsburg became the first Bundesliga club to launch a completely new app on our platform. For radio stations we built Ekko, our own platform that gives every station its own app and website, in use at Radio C and Radio Lübeck. And the smart TV apps for 80s80s and 90s90s now also run on Vega OS, the new system on Fire TV Sticks. We have plenty more planned.
2024 - 2025
It's getting sporty.
We're still passionate about our clients' success, and we've set ourselves a new goal: a product of our own, built entirely by us. From us, for clubs. Torshavn.io is an end-to-end solution for professional football, with data, backend, APIs, frontend and AI. The first club was on board, and we were ready to take the field.
2022 - 2024
We are going all-in.
We are now more than ever a full-service provider. We work even more closely with our partners, and AI has become a fixed part of our everyday work and our solutions.
In sports, we built apps for several top Bundesliga clubs, including HSV, while the radio industry relies on our new smart TV solutions. We built a news portal for BurdaForward (unfortunately discontinued), plus websites for Marius Müller-Westernhagen and PSX. Radio remains a core part of our work, and we are proud to have won new clients there such as Radio ENERGY and Nostalgie.
2019 - 2022
We're expanding.
We didn't just grow in expertise, we grew as a team. Alongside our voice know-how we added mobile, web and backend development, and to bring even more power to the street we opened a second office in Berlin Mitte. During this time we built the world's first smart electric grill for Severin, radio apps for FFH, ANTENNE BAYERN and Absolut Radio, and smart TV and wearable solutions for Radioplayer.
We also left our mark in culture: we redesigned the digital presence of Tag des offenen Denkmals® (Open Monument Day), with app, website and backend. And thanks to our internal web tools, Warner Music Germany now works a lot more efficiently on release days.
2016 - 2019
Pioneers in the voice realm
As platform partners of Amazon and Google, we developed the first voice solutions for the German-speaking world and laid the foundation for Nuuk. Whether 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?', 'Chefkoch' or the skills of ANTENNE BAYERN and ROCK ANTENNE, used millions of times: we helped shape the first steps of the voice era in the German-speaking world.
