FC Augsburg
A goal for FCA, and at that very moment the phone lights up: the new FC Augsburg app brings matchday to the fans in real time. We built it natively from the ground up for iOS and Android, on our own platform Torshavn.io. FC Augsburg is the first Bundesliga club running on Torshavn.io.
At its heart is the matchday hub. Match events, statistics, tables and line-ups stream into the app live via the official Sportec feed, and real-time push notifications bring what happens on the pitch to the fans instantly.
Between matches, fans get news with text, images and video, FCA-TV with its own video player, the squad, fixtures, tickets and a personal account. Everything is built natively, in SwiftUI for iOS and Kotlin for Android, for an app that responds quickly and runs reliably.
Behind the scenes, the app makes the club faster too. The editorial team publishes content flexibly, manages matchday centrally in Torshavn.io and gets AI support for image captions and push suggestions. The platform is hosted in Germany and GDPR-compliant.
