Hamburger SV
Hamburger SV is much more than a football club. With its long history, countless successes, and one of the most loyal fan bases in Germany, HSV is one of the absolute top addresses in German football. The club stands for Hanseatic down-to-earthness, passion, and tireless commitment to the sport and its fans. In this spirit, our goal was to create a digital platform that lives up to these values and connects the community more closely with the club.
In collaboration with HSV and SPORTFIVE, we have taken over the development of the new native iOS and Android apps. Our task was to take up the already started development, optimize it, and continue it in a targeted manner. The goal was to create a central app that covers all the needs of the fans - from current news to matchday features to personalized services. The result: a modern, intuitive app that convinces both technically and aesthetically.
With a clear focus on user-friendliness and performance, we have developed the apps natively in SwiftUI for iOS and Kotlin for Android. The design combines the club's tradition with a modern, digital look that reflects the spirit of HSV. Thanks to the integration of powerful APIs, data is retrieved in real-time to provide users with the most up-to-date information. In addition, the HSV Netradio has been integrated to be live on matchdays. The close collaboration with HSV and SPORTFIVE was crucial to ensure that the apps meet the requirements of the club and the fans alike.
