With an impressive history, one of the largest fan bases worldwide, and the Signal Iduna Park, known for its unique atmosphere, BVB is more than just a club: it is an institution of international football. Passion, innovation, and closeness to the fans take precedence here.
As part of the ongoing digitalization of the club, Borussia Dortmund has decided to continuously develop its native iOS and Android apps to meet the demands of the modern fan base. The goal is for the apps to not only inform fans before and after games, but especially on match days with real-time information. The app is the central point of contact and the fastest way to stay up to date on BVB.
Nuuk has realized the takeover and further development of the native apps in close collaboration with Borussia Dortmund. Our dedicated development teams continuously work to keep the apps up to date and provide fans with a seamless digital experience. Some of the key implementations included:
App Pickup Service: A completely new feature that allows fans to pre-order food and drinks at the stadium through the app and pick them up at specially designated counters. This makes the stadium experience more comfortable and stress-free.
English Matchday: Complete integration of an English Matchday feature to engage the global fan community.
Adserver Integration: Adjustments and optimizations of existing adserver integrations to make monetization more efficient.
UI Updates: Annual design updates to ensure a contemporary user experience.
Continuous Maintenance: From bug reports to regular integration of new features, Nuuk ensures that the apps run smoothly and meet current requirements.
